Evaluation methods and criteria

The course assignments will be scored according to the distribution announced in Reppu, so that the total score for all course tasks is 100 points. A minimum of 50 points is required to pass the course, and grades are determined according to the following scale:

< 50 points: grade 0, course failed
50 points: grade 1
60 points: grade 2
70 points: grade 3
80 points: grade 4
90 points: grade 5

If something prevents you from submitting your work on time, apply for an extension immediately. Such a reason could be, for example, illness or a compulsory move due to water damage. Communicate with the teacher as soon as you become aware of the delay. A pre-agreed change to the completion deadline will not affect the assessment.

If you submit the work late without applying for an extension, 5 points will be deducted per starting week of delay for each assignment. If the submission is delayed until the start of the autumn semester (Mon 24 August 2026 or later), the maximum grade will be 1. In such a case, it is recommended not to submit the work and instead participate in the next implementation.
