Objective

Students will be able to plan, implement and assess safe adventure activity products (length max. 1 day) for different customers under various conditions. They will be able to compile the necessary safety documentation and plan for the product and assess how they work. They will also be able to price such products, applying the principles of sustainable development in the planning and implementation of the product and assessing its success. Students will able to use natural elements and forms of activity in the planning and implementation of the adventure product.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to apply the principles of sustainable development when planning and implementing and assessing the implementation of adventure activity tourism. They are able to utilise elements from nature and forms of activity creatively when planning and implementing an adventure based activity product. They can assess how well a safety document and plan functions in the planning and implementation of such products.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students can plan, implement and assess safe adventure activity products (lasting a max. of 24 hours) with different customers under various conditions. They are able to price a product and can compile the required safety documentation and plan for the product.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can plan, implement and assess safe adventure activity products. They are able to say why having a safety plan is important.
