Objective
Students will be able to define factors associated with the physical education of young children and can apply familiar forms of exercise when instructing under-school age children. They will be capable of planning, instructing and assessing physical education for nursery children.

The students are able to choose teaching methods for instruction sessions with expertise. They are able to plan, and implement an instruction session and assess whether the goals of a PE session with infants have been achieved. They can apply familiar forms of exercise and sports in a variety of ways in PE for infants. They are able to work independently, responsibly and in a goal-oriented manner. The students are able to work as team members, promoting and developing the group's activities.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to name, describe and give reasons for issues related to PE for infants (objectives and contents). They select appropriate contents and methods for infant PE sessions and assess the implementation of the sessions. They can apply familiar forms of exercise and sports in PE for infants. They are able to work independently and responsibly in learning and instruction situations. The students are able to work as team members to achieve the common goal of the group.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to name and describe issues related to PE for infants (objectives and contents. They are able to plan, and implement a PE session for groups of infants. They can use familiar forms of exercise and sports in PE for infants. They work in an appropriate manner in learning and instruction situations. They take others into consideration in their work and can work in a team.
