Content
- the basics and accessibility of visual planning, copyright of images - technical skills: image editing, social media video, making web pages and print products
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
Students commendably recognize the visual communication needs related to their professional field. Students have utilized their knowledge base in a versatile manner and successfully applied it to their own examples. They are able to produce visual communication materials themselves and have a good command of the basics of the platforms taught in the course. The students have completed the assignments carefully, on schedule, and in accordance with the assignment instructions.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Students are able to identify the visual communication needs related to their professional field. The knowledge base has been utilized successfully in some areas, but applying the knowledge to their own examples still requires practice. Students are able to produce visual communication materials and has mastered most of the basics of the platforms taught in the course. Students have completed the assignments as instructed.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Students have difficulty identifying the visual communication needs related to their professional field. The use and application of knowledge is limited and notes are incomplete. There are challenges in producing visual communication materials and using the platforms taught in the course. Compliance with assignments and schedules is difficult.
