This course will reinforce students' Italian grammar skills, widen their vocabulary and develop their spoken Italian as well providing a variety of information on Italian culture.

5 cr of approved Italian studies or the equivalent

Excellent 5: the student
- can read texts fluently
- knows the rules of pronunciation and intonation and can apply them consistently in oral situations
- knows enough grammar and vocabulary to be able to manage well in simple face-to-face service situations and drawing up written messages, e.g. e-mails, SMS messages

Good 3: the student
- can read fluently - knows the most important rules of pronunciation and intonation and can apply them in oral situations
- knows the most important grammar structures and enough vocabulary to be able to communicate orally and in writing in simple service situations

Satisfactory 1: the student
- can read texts
- knows some of the rules of pronunciation and intonation and is able to apply them in oral situations
- knows grammar structures and grammar enough to understand the main content in oral and written service situations
