Osaamistavoitteet

The student
-acquires basic knowledge of Swedish language such as; numbers, weekdays, months, basic grammar and basic discussion skills of everyday issues, school/work and is introduced to Swedish culture.

-letters, numbers
-everyday phrases
-time phrases
-talking about one's own education/work
-discussions

The course is meant for foreign students only.
No previous knowledge of Swedish needed

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

Excellent (5)
-have acquired excellent basic Swedish skills
-are able to discuss briefly but clearly without much effort their personal life and ask others questions
-is capable of writing sentences about everyday life using correct grammar and spelling
-has acquired the vocabulary presented during the course
-manages to speak on the phone and leave a message with the right content

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3)

Satisfactory (3-4)
-have acquired most of the taught content of the course and grammar that has been presented
-are able to discuss their personal life briefly, though with some difficulty and ask other basic questions and are understood by the listener(s)
-is capable of writing short sentences about basic everyday life with some mistakes in the grammar and spelling
-has acquired most of the vocabulary presented during the course
-manages to speak on the phone and leave a short message

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)

Satisfactory (1-2)
-have acquired some of the taught content of the course and grammar that has been presented
-are able to discuss their personal life very briefly and with some considerable difficulty and can ask basic questions but is not always understood by the listener
-is capable of writing short sentences about basic everyday life with obvious mistakes in the grammar and spelling
-has acquired small portion of the vocabulary presented during the course
-manages to answer the phone or make a phone call and leave a previously planned message
