The students are able to explain in their own words and fluently compensate for their lack of vocabulary as well as being able to use tourism related terminology accurately. They are able to communicate skillfully even in demanding interaction situations (e.g. meetings, negotiations, and sales)
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to express issues in a different way if necessary and use tourism related terminology fairly accurately. The students are able to communicate clearly in fundamental interaction situations (e.g. customer service, negotiations).
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to use basic tourism vocabulary so that their basic message is communicated. They are able to communicate so as to be understood in simple routine interaction situations (e.g. customer service, presentation of work place).
