Objective

The student can work according to the values, ethical principles, and guidelines of nursing, and can evaluate their implementation in daily work.
Can appreciate the customer/patient and engage with them as an expert and active participant in their own life, also taking into account their close ones.

Communication and multidisplinary skills, Patient and Customer Safety, and Information Technology and Documentation:
The student can communicate professionally with internal medicine patients and their close ones.
Can work in multidisciplinary teams and settings with good interpersonal skills.
Can promote patient safety and prevent adverse events at all stages of the patient care process.
Can appropriately document the different stages of the client'/patient' care process in the patient information system.

Passed
The student is guided by the values and principles of nursing and is able to justify his/her actions in accordance with them.
The student acts in a client-oriented manner at different stages of the nursing process.
The student acts in accordance with objectives and self-assessment is varied and objective-based

Failed
The student acts contrary to the values and ethical principles of nursing
Is student is indifferent towards clients
The student's duty of confidentiality is not respected
Failure to comply with the rules of professional conduct
Lack of baseline description and objectives
Self-assessment is unrealistic or non-existent, students are unable to receive and use the feedback they receive

The student communicates with the client/patient and their loved ones in a professional manner.
The student works proactively and flexibly in multidisciplinary teams to achieve a common goal.

Failed
The student's communication with the client/patient or their relatives is unprofessional or communication within the work community is inadequate.

Pass
The student is able to define nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in accordance with the decision-making process.
The student will be able to identify, plan, decide and carry out care planning and decision-making processes, and will be able to identify, decide and carry out care planning and decision-making processes.
The student will identify the risks of complications in the internally ill patient.
The student will implement medication in accordance with the delegated authority and understand his/her own responsibility in their implementation.
The student will consider the needs, resources and responsibilities of the patient when providing patient care in the management of the internally ill patient.

Fail
The student is unable to carry out nursing care or supervision without guidance.
The student is unable to assess and monitor vital signs and identify changes that may compromise vital signs.
The student fails to recognise potential risks of complications for the client.
The student knowingly or repeatedly compromises the safe administration of medication to the patient.

Evidence-based practice, use of research evidence and decision making:
Pass
The student will use evidence-based knowledge in decision making in the nursing care of the internally ill patient.

Fail
The student makes full use of evidence-based knowledge in both nursing practice and self-assessment.
