By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
Understand the human body as a functioning whole and the interconnection of its systems.
Describe the basic structure and function of key organ systems, including blood, circulation, respiration, musculoskeletal, urinary, and gastrointestinal systems.
Recognize the roles of cells, tissues, and skin in maintaining health and homeostasis.
Apply foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology in healthcare-related learning tasks and discussions.

The human body as a functioning entity
Cells, tissues, and skin
Blood and homeostasis
Musculoskeletal system (bones and muscles)
Acid–base balance
Cardiovascular system (heart and circulation)
