Acute and Intensive Treatment (5 ECTS)
In this unit the student:
Assesses the urgency of a patient's care and performs an initial evaluation of care needs.
Understands the service structure, core principles, and legislation related to acute and intensive care.
Identifies the main patient groups in emergency care and applies relevant research and treatment methods.
Understands the specific aspects of medication management in acute and intensive care nursing.

Wound Care 1 ECTS
The student:
Understands the wound healing process and the factors that influence healing.
Assesses the need for wound care and selects appropriate local treatment methods.
Knows wound care products and selects the correct product for different types of wounds.
Understands the principles of acute wound care and the prevention and management of chronic wounds.

Mental Health and Addiction Nursing in Medical-Surgical Environments 1 ECTS
The student:
Recognizes the stages of a crisis and supports the patient and relatives during a crisis.
Develops interaction and dialogue skills for patient encounters.

Diversity in Health Care 2 ECTS
The student:
Understands the key concepts related to diversity in nursing.
Understands how discrimination affects the patient experience and quality of care.
Acts in a multi-professional manner to promote equality and equity in healthcare.

Remote Care and Digital Services Skills 1 ECTS
The student:
Understands the basics and practical use of remote and digital health services.
Communicates effectively and professionally in digital environments.
Guides clients in using electronic services and supports their digital competence.

Demonstrates only partial understanding of medication management in acute settings. In wound care, recognises healing principles and uses basic treatments but requires support in product selection and chronic wound prevention.
In mental health and addiction nursing, recognises stages of crisis but provides limited support and shows developing interpersonal skills.
In diversity-related care, demonstrates awareness of discrimination and cultural competence but applies knowledge only at a general level.
In digital health services, uses basic tools but communicates with clients in a limited and hesitant way.
