Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)
Demonstrates comprehensive mastery of pharmacological care, integrating laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional responsibilities seamlessly into practice.
Anticipates and proactively manages risks at critical points of the medication process.
Explains medication mechanisms in detail with strong evidence-based reasoning and applies pharmacological knowledge critically in planning, administration, and guidance.
Administers medications safely and independently through all routes, including complex IV therapies and blood transfusions, with exceptional precision.
Performs advanced medication calculations accurately, including challenging infusion and weight-based problems, ensuring error prevention.
Uses electronic databases (e.g., Terveysportti) skillfully to make informed, evidence-based clinical decisions. Monitors, evaluates, and documents drug therapy comprehensively, identifying and managing adverse effects, interactions, and complex patient cases with professionalism and confidence.
Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3)
Demonstrates solid knowledge of pharmacological care and applies laws, regulations, and professional responsibilities appropriately in practice. Identifies and manages critical points in the medication process with good accuracy.
Explains phases and mechanisms of medication action clearly across different routes.
Administers medications safely through oral, injectable, IV, and inhaled routes, showing confidence in routine procedures.
Understands and applies safe principles of IV therapy and blood transfusion.
Uses electronic drug databases effectively to support decision-making and medication safety.
Monitors, evaluates, and documents drug effects systematically, recognising common adverse effects and interactions.
Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)
Meets the minimum requirements of the course:
Demonstrates a basic understanding of Finnish laws, regulations, and guidelines for pharmacological care, but applies them inconsistently. Recognises their professional responsibility but shows limited ability to evaluate or plan safe care.
Identifies critical points of the medication process at a basic level.
Explains medication mechanisms in simple terms with partial accuracy.
Administers medications safely through the most common routes but requires support in more complex procedures (e.g., IV therapy, transfusions). Uses electronic drug databases only in a limited way.
Documentation and monitoring are basic but sometimes incomplete.
