Osaamistavoitteet
The student can describe the differences between tourism regions in Finland and how pull factors (attractions) differ in various parts of the country. Using research material, they will be able to describe how foreign tourists spend their time in Finland and where Finnish tourists go on holiday abroad.
Furthermore, the student becomes aware of essential international tourism regions and the phenomenon of over-tourism which often goes hand in hand.
The student gets a short overview of the history of tourism from a European perspective.
