Objective
Students will be able to define the main features of well-being tourism and how it fits into the wider field of health tourism. They will be able to describe the main points of well-being tourism history, and explain the Finnish Tourist Board's well-being tourism strategy's aims and its significance regarding development in the field and companies within this field of tourism. They will be able to present the basic selection of products within well-being tourism and the special features of tailored selections. Students will understand the opportunities Finland's nature and culture provide in terms of developing well-being tourism, as well as the meaning of food and nutrition in well-being tourism. They will be able to state who the main well-being tourism customer groups are in Finland and abroad.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students are able to explain the goals and significance of the Finnish Tourist Board's strategy to the development of tourism and tourism companies and can assess the the importance of strategic goals to the industry. The students are able to expertly and extensively use and assess wellbeing tourism concepts.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to define the fundamental goals of wellbeing tourism. They are able to outline the history of wellbeing tourism development. The students are able to describe the basic offerings and specialist features of targeted offerings of wellbeing tourism in Finland. They understand the opportunities to wellbeing tourism development provided by nature and culture and can describe the main wellbeing tourism customer groups in Finland and around the world.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to place wellbeing tourism within the wider field of health tourism. They are able to list some products of the wellbeing tourism basic offering and targeted offering. The students are able to explain which elements of Finland's nature and culture are most important in the development of wellbeing tourism. They are able to define the importance of food and nutrition as a part of wellbeing tourism.
