Objective

Students will be able to use Swedish in tourism situations, possessing the proficiency to search for current information in Swedish concerning tourism and to present the activity and nature tourism products and tourism companies in Swedish.
Students will be able to discuss their studies and training and themselves in e.g. a job application situation. They also be able to work in customer service using the telephone and face to face using Swedish.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students their versatile Swedish fluently in tourism situations and can use grammar structures effortlessly as required. They are able to use correct pronunciation. The students are able to find topical information about tourism in Swedish from various media and can analyse, apply and apply what they have read. They are able to describe activity and nature tourism services and companies in a variety of ways. Their conversation is spontaneous and in addition to the message they are able to use polite and interesting style. They can discuss there education, work experience and themselves extensively while being able to work in a spontaneous and natural manner in face to face and telephone customer service.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students use Swedish in tourism situations demonstrating their knowledge of basic grammar and pronunciation rules. They use appropriate grammar and can find and use topical information about tourism in Swedish from different media and can present what they have read after preparation. The students are able to describe activity and nature tourism services and tourism companies at a basic level. The students have basic conversation skills and can convey their message so that misunderstandings do not occur. The students are able to talk about themselves and their education extensively and positively. The students are able to work in basic customer service situations using the telephone and face to face.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to use Swedish in tourism situations at a general level and can use very basic grammar structures and they know the basic rules of pronunciation. They are able to identify the basic content of topical issues in tourism via different media. The students are able to discuss basic issues related to activity and nature tourism at a rudimentary level and can express basic information about themselves and their studies positively and briefly. The students can work in telephone and face to face customer service using basic phrases.
