Swedish/Bygg upp din svenska (3cr)

Objective

Students will develop and strengthen their Swedish language skills so that they will be able to cope with their UAS Swedish studies. Additionally this course aims to develop general language study skills.

Content

Basic Swedish grammar and terminology
Activation of written and spoken Swedish as well as reading comprehension

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to
- use a variety of grammar structures accurately
- react quickly in an appropriate manner in a discussion
- write fluently and with purpose without making mistakes

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to
- use grammar structures to a large extent accurately and correct their errors if they have lead to misunderstandings
- react mainly in an appropriate manner in a discussion
- write quite fluently and clearly

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to
- use simple, basic grammar structures
- react in a discussion
- write so that their texts can be understood to some extent
- writes basic text and short sentences, checks word forms
