Physics 2Laajuus (4 cr)

Code: TR00BZ26

Credits

4 op

Objective

This course aims to provide the physical background knowledge required in other modules of the degree programme.

Content

Thermodynamics, Electricity
Wave motion and acoustics,

Materials

Momentti 1 Insinöörifysiikka, Inkinen, Tuohi, Otava
Momentti 2 Insinöörifysiikka, Inkinen, Tuohi, Otava

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to analyse the problems of the topic in hand and produce alternative methods of solving them.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to draw conclusions from the problems of the topic in hand. They are able to divide problem solving into suitable parts to solve related equations and system of equations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to recognise the topic's (thermodynamics, electronics and wave motion theory) and quantities and units. They are able to find the equations needed to solve problems within the topic area and can do the required linear equations.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Arviointi perustuu tenttiin/tentteihin. Tyydyttävä taso edellyttää että tentin pisteistä saadaan noin 50 - 70 %, hyvä taso 70 - 90 % ja kiitettävät yli 90 %.
