Objective

The student can describe education and in Finland and tell about work and workplace as well as about entrepreneurship and the operational environment of a company as part of society.

Content

Finnish Education, Motivation and work, job descriptions, departments and people in a company. Operational environment of a company,industrial relations company forms,graphs and charts, financing, entrepreneurship.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to use a variety of business vocabulary and concepts and can skilfully adapt their communication style to the situation and the culture of their partner in communication. They are able to prepare and deliver a convincing and cohesive presentation with necessary materials and can answer questions from the audience spontaneously and justifying their opinions.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to use fundamental business vocabulary and concepts and can adapt their communication style to the situation and the culture of their partner in communication. They are able to prepare and deliver a clear presentation with necessary materials and can answer questions from the audience.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to understand business vocabulary and concepts and can use them to a limited degree. They are able to deliver a presentation on a familiar subject using existing material and guidance striving to take the audience into account during different stages of the presentation.
