Students will gain knowledge of current questions pertinent to an organisation's data security and will know how to find data security and risk management solutions for an organisation.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students will know the legislation and focus of data security and understand the importance of risk management. They will be able to compile a data security plan based on risk analysis. 90 - 100% of points in the exam.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to a satisfactory level of competence the students are able to identify the needs and focus of data security. They will be proficient in data security methods and can use them if necessary. 65 - 90% of points in the exam.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students will know the foundations, concepts and demands of data security and can use them in their own work. 50 - 65% of points in the exam.
