Objective

Students will be familiar with technological applications and models that promote home-nursing patient safety, mental and physical capability, activeness and maintaining contact. They will be able to assess the usability of the technical appliances and how such appliances change the service processes that support living at home.

Assessing the accessibility of the home environment
Distance care and related technological solutions
Technological solutions promoting independent movement and activeness
Technology for communication and maintaining contact
Assessing the usability of technological solutions with different home-nursing customer groups.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to provide development proposals to promote access in the home and living environment of home nursing patients. They are able to analyse the impacts of technological solutions on their customers' mental and physical capabilities, activeness and contact with others. They are able to provide development proposals to improve the usability of technological solutions from the point of view of different customer groups. They know how to analyse the impacts of technological solutions on service processes.

The students are able to describe the accessibility of home care customers' home and living environments. They are able to explain how technological solutions promote customers' physical and mental capabilities, activeness and contact with others. They can assess the usability of technical solutions from the point of view of different customer groups. They can assess the impacts of technological solutions of service processes.

Students are able to describe the accessibility of home care customers' living and home environments. They are able to name and describe the technical solutions that promote home care customers' physical and mental capabilities, activeness and contact with others. They are able to describe the usability of technological solutions from the point of view of the customer. They are able to describe the impact of technological solutions on service processes.
