Content
- Preliminary planning of the practical training
- An eight‑week (8) practical training period in a sports and physical activity work environment (approx. 324 hours of student work)
- Reporting and evaluation of the practical training
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass:
You are able to carry out the preliminary planning of the internship (you participate in the internship briefing and prepare the internship agreement and objectives). During the internship period, you conduct yourself appropriately and act responsibly in accordance with the value base and professional ethical principles of the sports and physical activity sector. You adapt to the operational culture of the internship organization and, after orientation, are able to perform work tasks. You work independently, show motivation, and demonstrate a willingness to develop your competence. You take others into account in your actions and are able to work flexibly within a group.
You can apply the knowledge and skills covered in your studies and justify your actions theoretically. You are able to plan, implement and evaluate instructional entities that promote physical activity. You can describe the administrative structures of the sports sector, including the core tasks, mission and structure of the organization. You evaluate your own actions, realistically recognize your level of competence, and are capable of engaging in interactive feedback discussions. You report the progress of the internship, maintain contact with the supervising teacher, and submit the required documents within the agreed schedule.
Fail:
The student does not complete the agreed work tasks at the internship site, does not act responsibly, or fails to submit the required documents.

Accomplishment methods
The student primarily finds the internship placement independently, and the placement must be approved in advance by the supervising teacher before the internship begins. The internship is scheduled for the spring of the second academic year.
