The students are familiar with the main legislation and guidelines of immigration policy in Finland.
They can identify key societal and individual challenges related to the status of minorities.
The students will adopt a culturally sensitive approach and can recognize their own values, attitudes and perceptions of people when working with people from different cultural and religious backgrounds.
They can take action to prevent discrimination and racism against different groups of people.
They know the services, procedures and key actors that promote the integration of immigrants.
