Objective

Students will develop and strengthen their English language skills to a level where they will be able to cope with their UAS English studies and develop general language study skills.

Content

Basic English grammar and terminology
Activation of written and spoken English and reading comprehension

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
-can use versatile grammar structures pratically without faults
-reacts quickly and appropriately to what the other person says
-writes fluently and appropriately pratically without grammar faults

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student
-uses structures mainly right and corrects his/her mistakes in case they have led to misunderstandings
-reacts in most cases appropriately to what the other person says
-writes rather fluently and clearly.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can
use simple grammar structures
-react somehow to what the other person says and write somewhat intelligibly.
-write basic text and short sentences, checks word forms.
