The participant understands the importance of mentoring and knows how to use it as a method of skill development.
The participant masters the different forms of mentoring and knows how to evaluate their usefulness in different mentoring situations and relationships.
The participant is able to evaluate and apply different mentoring methods in different mentoring situations and relationships.
The participant can analyze the key factors of a quality mentoring process.
The participant knows how to plan a mentoring program and process.
The participant is able to critically search for up-to-date information about mentoring and produce a coherent, reflective essay about it.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The course is approved when the participant understands and is able to explain the importance of mentoring as a method of developing competences and controls its knowledge base. He manages and is able to utilize different forms of mentoring and knows how to evaluate their usefulness in different mentoring situations and relationships. The student masters various mentoring methods and is able to utilize them in his work, and he understands, is able to explain and knows how to plan a high-quality mentoring process and program. The student is able to search for current expert information on mentoring and report the information in a reflective essay.

Independent online studies, not scheduled

Accomplishment methods

Independent online studies. Multiple choice exams, returnable mentoring plan, reflective essay.
Passing the course requires returning the exams and the mentoring plan.
The course includes an alternative method of completion.
The course requires 135 hours of student work.
