Objective

Students become familiar with the planning and management of maintenance functions and familiar with the maintenance operating models used as tools in maintenance management. The student recognizes the factors affecting maintenance management and is able to apply different operating models to develop maintenance operations. In addition, the impact of maintenance on companies' profitability, among other things, will be considered, and the impact of the circular economy on maintenance planning and management will be examined.

Opiskelija on saavuttanut opintojakson perustavoitteet ja ymmärtää kunnossapidon suunnitteluun ja johtamiseen vaikuttavat tekijät. Opiskelija osoittaa ymmärrystä opintojakson aiheiden hallitsemisesta ja pystyy soveltamaan osaamista tarkoituksenmukaisesti eri harjoitustehtävissä. Tehtävät on toteutettu laadukkaasti ja vastaukset osoittavat aiheeseen perehtymistä sekä omaehtoista ja kriittistä pohdintaa. Hyväksytyn suorituksen raja on 70% maksimipisteistä.

Accomplishment methods

The course includes lectures and various exercises. The teaching is mainly organized as face-to-face teaching. Passing the course requires the completion of both practice assignments and the final exam. The course requires 81 hours of student work.
