Objective

Opiskelija ymmärtää strategisen suunnittelun ja johtamisen merkityksen yrityksen/organisaation kokonaisohjauksen näkökulmasta. Tunnistaa toimintaympäristöjen kansallisia ja kansainvälisiä haasteita ja niiden vaikutuksia yrityksen/organisaation toimintaan ja omaan työhönsä. Hallitsee strategisen suunnitteluprosessin ja kykenee analysoimaan yrityksen/organisaation strategiseen suunnitteluun, johtamiseen ja kehittämiseen liittyviä periaatteita ja toimintoja sekä arvioimaan niiden vaikutuksia. Kehittyy analysoimaan organisaation käyttämiä strategisia mittareita toiminnan arvioinnin välineenä. Kehittyy analysoimaan, käyttämään ja arvioimaan yrityksen/organisaation toimintaympäristön muutoksia suunnittelun, päätöksenteon ja seurannan tueksi.

Student workload

On tärkeää, että opiskelija tunnistaa ajankäytön vaatimukset tällä opintojaksolla. Vaikka opintojakso on varsin joustavasti suoritettavissa, aikataulu on tiivis. Strategisen johtamisen 5 op:n laajuinen opintojakso tarkoittaa laskennallisesti 135 h opiskelijan työtä, jonka toteutuminen on toki opiskelijan työskentelystä riippuen yksilöllistä. Opintojakso on suunniteltu työn ohessa tehtäväksi.

Objective

The student understands the importance and role of foresight as part of innovation and is able to use common foresight methods. The student understands the importance of innovation and knows the key concepts and sub-areas of innovation process, as well as the special features of innovation management. The student can apply the principles of innovation in his/her own work, can develop innovation in the work community and can apply innovation management methods as part of the development of his/her own field.

K5: Opiskelija hallitsee laajasti ennakointi- ja innovaatiotoiminnan käsitteiden käytön. Opiskelija pystyy syvällisesti analysoimaan organisaation (esim. oman työpaikan) ennakointi- ja innovaatiotoiminnan nykytilaa. Opiskelija pystyy laatimaan selvän ja hyvin muotoilun suunnitelman organisaation ennakointi- ja innovaatiotoiminnan kehittämiseksi käyttäen laajasti ja monipuolisesti yhdistelemällä eri menetelmiä. Raportin rakenne ja kieli ovat erinomaisia. Lähdekirjallisuutta on käytetty hyvin laajasti hyödyntäen myös kansainvälistä alan kirjallisuutta ja opintojakson materiaaleissa esittelemätöntä kirjallisuutta.

He/she recognizes the effects of constructive thinking to oneself and environment. The student recognizes the meaning of own emotion regulation to self-management and the meaning of compassion toward oneself.

Students will be able to manage the R&D&I process in a goal-oriented, innovative and planned way, based on evaluation. He or she will manage the overall R&D&I process and develop it in a systematic and controlled manner, justifying solutions critically and comprehensively. The student has a good command of the methodologies supporting the R&D&I process and is able to evaluate their applicability in a critical and comprehensive manner. He/she is able to set up a project organisation supporting the R&D&I process, involving its actors in R&D&I activities. The student will be able to analyse and justify the development needs of the sector in a forward-looking way, in cooperation with the actors in the working community and experts in the field, and integrate them into the operational context, the social context and previous knowledge in the field of education. Students will be able to reform workplace practices on the basis of evidence and create new conceptual ways of thinking about practice and application.

The student is able to manage the R&D&I process with goal-oriented evaluation. He/she recognises the whole process and is able to justify decisions. The student will be able to assess the appropriateness of the methodology supporting the R&D&I process in a thematically justified manner. They can set up a project organisation supporting the R&D&I process, involving its actors in R&D&I activities.
