Descriptions
The Master’s degree programme in Data Analytics and Management is intended for individuals with an engineering degree who aim to deepen their expertise in data analytics and develop their skills in business related to data analytics. The programme offers the opportunity to become a specialist in the field or, alternatively, to pursue leadership and development roles within the industry.
It provides opportunities for acquiring additional competence both for those already familiar with the data field and for those interested in entering it. Students will explore data analytics, the business opportunities it offers, and research and development activities. Following this, students will choose, based on their skills and interests, either the Data Analytics Specialist track, which focuses more deeply on data analytics solutions, or the Data Business Manager track, which prepares students for managing and developing business that incorporates data analytics.
Objective
The aim of the programme is to familiarise students with data analytics, the business opportunities it offers, and research and development activities. After this, students will choose, based on their own skills and interests, either the Data Analytics Specialist track, which focuses more deeply on data analytics solutions, or the Data Business Manager track, which prepares students for managing and developing business involving data analytics.
Further information
The programme is delivered as online training. Study days are held on average 2–5 days per month, including some evening sessions. The training is conducted as distance/online learning. In addition to online study days, the studies include other online lectures, remote assignments, and independent work.
