Computer Science and Business Skills is a professional development Master's degree that you can complete alongside work. It includes broader and deeper studies in management and development. It emphasizes management and development skills in both a national and international context. You can choose to study human resources and financial management, marketing, innovation, information technologies and business. All courses are based on strategic thinking and development.
Objective
The overall aim of computer and business skills education is to train management and development experts for companies and organisations. It is a professional development qualification that enables students to develop their own expertise, their work community and networking.
After the training, you will be able to act as an expert, manager and developer, and you will be able to use applied development methods in different companies and organisations. You will also learn how to develop your professional skills in the future. The training will also give work communities the opportunity to develop their activities through a range of learning tasks included in the training. In this thesis, you will develop your work community through various research and development methods.
Further information
The degree programme consists of 90 credits and takes about 2 years to complete alongside work. The training is delivered in a "blended learning" format, with an average of 1-2 days of distance learning per month. It is possible to complete the studies online.
The studies consist of studies in management, human resources and financial skills (50 credits), research and development skills (10 credits) and a thesis/development assignment (30 credits).
The degree obtained through the training, the Master of Business Administration (Master of Business Administration), is a higher level university degree and provides the same qualification as the Master's degrees awarded by universities.
