Objective

Students will be able to work in customer service using Swedish; reservations, presenting a service or hotel, dealing with complaints. Students will be able to write business inquiries, orders, letters of complaint and their responses in Swedish. To be familiar with the main features of Swedish culture.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to work in customer service situations in a hotel or tourist service company fluently and naturally using different channels. They know business correspondence documents - their main features and phrases and how to compile such documents accurately and using versatile language. They recognise cultural features and take them into account when communicating.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to work in basic hotel or tourist service company customer service using fluent Swedish. They know business correspondence documents - their content and can compile them. They recognise cultural idiosyncrasies.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to work in basic hotel or tourist service company customer service using basic phrases. They recognise business correspondence documents and know cultural idiosyncrasies.
