Students will be able to plan, implement and assess exercise sessions for children and young people, being able to explain how exercise supports growth and development.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to plan, implement and assess a PE session and its objectives for children/youth. The students are able to choose with expertise the teaching methods and content for Physical Education sessions for children to support their growth and development. They are able to work independently, professionally and in a goal-oriented manner in teaching and instruction situations. The students are able to work as team members, promoting and developing the group's activities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to select appropriate contents and methods for PE sessions for youth/children and assess the implementation of the sessions. The students are able to name, describe and give reasons for the importance of exercise in terms of supporting the growth and development of children/youth. They can work as group members to promote the common objectives of the group.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to plan and implement PE sessions for children and young people. They are able to name and describe the importance of exercise in terms of supporting the growth and development of children/youth. The students work in an appropriate manner in learning and instruction situations, taking others into consideration and being able to work as group members.
