Objective

Students will be able to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of their communication style, analyse competition and recognise the opportunities of their own networks.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
Theme 1: Completed communicator profile. The students recognise the weaknesses and strengths of their own communication style.
Theme 2: Brand-orientation
The students recognise new product ideas and can analyse competition.
Theme 3: Networking
The students understand the significance of stories in building their own communicator identity. They recognise the opportunities of their network.
Supplementary awareness:
The students learn to apply their awareness of different areas of communication using exercises. They gain knowledge of a new, current communication area via the assignment.

In reference to the learning outcomes the students will possess the following knowledge and skills:
Knowledge:
Ability to use professional concepts consistently
Name, describe and justify basic knowledge concerning their chosen professional field.
Skills:
Select appropriate practices based on acquired knowledge and instruction
Assess and reflect on their abilities and the practices of their chosen professional field
Work independently and responsibly on different tasks in the given learning or operational environment
Consistently apply technologies and models suitable to their professional field
Attitudes:
Work in a customer and goal-oriented manner with a developmental approach
Work as a member of a team to achieve common goals
Give reasons for own actions based on the professional ethics of their chosen field
