Practical Training (30cr)

Objective

The Polytechnic Act (16.6.2005/423) defines practical training as part of university of applied sciences studies and the aim of practical training as being to introduce students to the main practical work tasks associated with their professional studies under supervision and the application of knowledge and skills in working life.

The aim of practical training is to support the students' conscious development, the development of practical competences for working life and the development of personal skills.

Content

Participation in practical training briefing (Spring of 1st yr)
Obtain acceptance of the practical training place and tasks
Compilation of the practical training contract, plan and work task form
Practical training assignment
Practical training diary
Assessment and reporting of practical training
