Objective

This course provides students with the ability to picture automated production possibilities in different production environments and to understand how production management works as a whole and at device level. Students will be able to combine previously acquired knowledge of different automation technology fields to form a cohesive whole and apply this knowledge when planning manufacturing systems.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to use professional concepts with expertise and can apply their professional competence as required in different situations. The students are able to develop flexible manufacturing system functions in different operational environments.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to use a wide range of professional concepts fluently and are able to carry out different tasks in various operational environments. They understand the significance of flexible manufacturing systems in industrial operations.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to use professional concepts systematically. They are able to work on individual tasks according to the requirements of the commission. They are aware of the significance of flexible manufacturing systems in industrial operations.
