Objective
Students will deepen their proficiency in the various sub-process of ore concentration and the different stages of the concentration process.
Content
Ways of implementing different concentration methods in different mines
Improving concentration method efficiency and decreasing environmental load in line with sustainable development principles.

The students understand the mechanisms and principles of operation and methods of adjusting (tuning) the most common beneficiation processes used in the field of mining. The students are able to use professional concepts with expertise and can apply their professional competence as required in different situations.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students understand the basic principles of operation of the most common beneficiation processes used in their professional field.
The students are able to use a wide range of professional concepts fluently and to work on different tasks in various operational environments.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students recognise the most common beneficiation processes and how they work. The students are able to use professional concepts systematically and to work on individual tasks according to the commission.
