Objective

Students will be familiar with the planning, dimensioning and special features of the beneficiation plant's different processes.

Content

Crushing and grinding circuits and their dimensions
Flotation circuit planning and dimensioning
Special methods for dealing with different types of ore

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to apply the principles of equipment stock and plant planning. They are able to design extensive combinations of equipment purposefully for different types of facilities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students understand the design principles of the most common devices used in their field of study. They are able to design extensive combinations of equipment according to the commission.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to recognise the design principles of the most common devices and can work on individual planning tasks according to the commission.
