Objective
Students will gain an overview of how mine maintenance is carried out. They will know the different ways in which mining process devices develop faults, recognise different strategic approaches to operative activities and the significance of maintenance to the economy of the mine, while knowing the basics of working on different tasks safely. They will gain a practical model of mining maintenance functions.
