Objective

Students will have an overview of work place operational models and of a safe working environment. They will know the occupational safety organisation as well as work safety issues from the point of view of occupational safety legislation and healthcare legislation. Students will be able to perceive the duties, responsibilities and incentives of the employer and employee in terms of employment contracts, work time legislation, occupational safety and healthcare legislation. Students will understand the economic and productive significance of occupational safety.
