Swedish/Bygg upp din svenska (3cr)

Objective

This course develops and strengthens Swedish skills acquired during earlier courses so that students will be able to cope with UAS level compulsory Swedish language studies in their own field of studies. The aim is also to develop language study skills.

Content

Basic grammar and vocabulary.
Activating speaking and writing skills as well as listening and reading comprehension.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In relation to the learning objectives the students can
* use a variety of grammar structures containing almost no errors
* react quickly and appropriately to what is said to them
* produce fluent writing appropriately that contains almost no errors

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In relation to the learning objectives the students can
* usually use grammar structures correctly and self-correct themselves if errors lead to misunderstanding
* react to what is said to them appropriately
* write quite fluently and clearly

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

In relation to the learning objectives the students can
* use basic grammar structures
* generally react correctly to what is said to them
* write Swedish that is to a large extent comprehensible
* write basic texts using short sentences, check word forms
