Objective

The students will understand the significance of preventive property maintenance (facility management and maintenance) in the reduction of costs accrued during the life-cycle of a property and in maintaining the value of the property.

Content

The project consists of facility maintenance and life-cycle management and course work related to financial control.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Pass:
The students are able to perceive the main elements of facility maintenance and are able to gather information required to compile a maintenance log.
