Objective
Students will be familiar with internationalisation and multiculturism in nursing. They will know human rights and the legislation governing them. They will be able to plan, implement, and assess health promotion and nursing amongst patients/customers from different cultures. They will be able to work constructively within a multicultural work community.

The students are able to comprehensively analyse the implementation of nursing ethics in work involving the nursing of asylum seekers and immigrants. They are able to select appropriate procedures for dealing with the critical stages of the care process when nursing immigrants. They recognise the need to develop their own communication skills and do so for the purposes of working in a multicultural environment.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to assess the implementation of nursing ethics in work involving the nursing of asylum seekers and immigrants and can analyse the critical stages of the care process for nursing immigrants. The students are able to analyse their own communication skills for the purposes of working in a multicultural work community.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students can describe the ethical principles of nursing asylum seekers and immigrants. They can recognise the critical stages in the process of nursing immigrants. They are able to describe their own communication skills from the point of view of working in a multicultural work community.
