Objective
The students will be able to apply fundamental nursing interventions when caring for a patient/customer in cases of sudden and acute illness in a variety of situations. They understand the structure of the acute care service system and can work as part of a multi-professional care chain. They ensure patient safety through their own work.

Students are able to use the concepts of acute nursing expertly and in a wide range of situations, combining them to form an overall perception. They know how to analyse, compare, combine and select information and can present alternative acute nursing procedures. The students are proficient in selecting and critically assessing the techniques and models of acute nursing and can use them in their work.The students are able to analyse, reflect upon and critically assess their own abilities and the practices of acute nursing using acquired knowledge. They are able to critically apply the professional ethical principles of nursing in their own work.

The students are able to systematically use the concepts of acute nursing. They are able to describe and give reasons for the basic knowledge of acute nursing. The students are able to select appropriate acute nursing procedures based on acquired knowledge and guidance. They are able to reflect upon and assess their own abilities and the practices of acute nursing. The students are able to use techniques and models appropriate to acute nursing. They can also justify their actions according to the professional ethical principles of nursing.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to use fundamental/individual concepts of acute nursing and can name and iterate basic acute nursing knowledge. The use acute nursing models and techniques in an appropriate manner. They take customers into account in their work and can assess their own expertise and nursing issues. Their work complies with the professional ethical principles of nursing.
