Objective

Students will be able to work as an expert in the health promoting impacts of exercise. They will be able assess exercise capability and to apply exercise to suit different states of health.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students are able to make use of an extensive knowledge base and demonstrate their ability to work critically. They are able to use the terminology and conceptual framework of the field with expertise and to use sources of information systematically.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students know how to work in a customer-oriented manner applying their theoretical knowledge base when compiling exercise instructions. They are able to justify their choices using theory.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students can explain how physical activity is connected to health and can assess their customers' exercise capabilities and compile exercise instructions for different states of health. They can recognise the difference between everyday knowledge and research. The students are able to use the most important sources of information.
