Objective

The students are able to identify different interfaces of the microcontroller and are able to design and deploy connections.

Content

Microcontroller interfaces, programming in C language
* Counters / Timers
* Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
* Data transfer buses
- 1-wire bus, 2-wire bus (TWI, I2C)
- serial communication (Spi, serial port)
* Power saver modes, interruptions

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to acquire knowledge independently and apply it to programming a microcontroller.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to use, analyze and program a microcontroller's internal features.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students have mastered the basics of a microcontroller in use.
