Telecommunications Technology 2 (2cr)

Objective

After successfully completing the course, the students will know the application area's most important data communications buses and protocols. They will be able to describe and differentiate between the properties, features and limitations of different buses and can apply them and protocols appropriately in project studies. The students will also deepen their knowledge of IoT technology.

The most important protocols of application areas and LAN and WLAN networks
Wireless sensor networks
Data communications measuring devices
Several lab work sessions are included in the course

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students are able to acquire and apply information independently. They possess excellent knowledge and skills in the subject of the course. They have successfully completed all the assignments in a timely manner.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students are able to acquire and apply information under supervision. They possess good knowledge and skills in the subject of the course. They have successfully completed at least half of all the assignments in a timely manner.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students are able to acquire and apply information. They possess basic knowledge and skills in the subject of the course. They have successfully completed at least one third of all the assignments in a timely manner.
