Objective
The students will know how to practice different forms of well being exercise and the effects and special features of such sports. They will be able to identify well being treatments in well being tourism. They will recognise the significance of well being sports in promoting holistic well being and will understand the therapeutic importance of such exercise. The students will be able to provide instruction on ways of using Finnish technology in well being services.
Content
Different ways of practicing well being exercise, its effects and special features (e.g. deep muscle exercise and stretching, yoga, Chiball, relaxation techniques, therapeutic dance, Asahi, kettlebell, senior dance).
The therapeutic significance of well being sports and treatments.
Sports technology in well being services.

The students are able to use well being sports extensively and with expertise in professional situations.
The students are able to analyse, compare and apply well being sports to different target groups.
The students are able to extensively apply new knowledge previously acquired knowledge, an innovative approach to sports technology and to current trends in well being sports.
The students are able to combine and select knowledge and can present and justify alternative practices.
The students are able to work independently, responsibly employing a positive attitude to learning.

The students are proficient in the basic technique of a well being sport.
The students are able to justify and explain the impacts of practicing well being sports and treatments.
The students are able to apply new knowledge to previously acquired knowledge.
The students area able to assess their own competence and can supplement it systematically and in a goal oriented manner.
The students are able to work in groups to achieve common goals.

The students are able to name and describe several well-being sports and their effects on well being.
They are able to identify well being treatments.
The students are able to acquire information about well being sports and the opportunities to practice such sports-
The students are able to work as members of a group and take others into account in their work.
