Objective

The student can apply the main means of digital communication. (S)he recognizes the significance and future prospects of digital communication for his/her field and can estimate the possibilities to use digital communication means from business life point of view. The student can develop the solutions of digital communication in the organisation and estimate their profitability.

Content

Digital operational environment of an organisation.
The means of interactive media and their possibilities from the point of view of the company's activities and needs,
On-line reputation management in a digital operational environment, search services, methods and tools to follow up communication, datasecurity.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students has reached the competence targets and can use and apply digital communication in the operations of the organisation coherently and can assess different alternative tools. The student can view and develop communication in his/her organisation in a versatile way using digital possibilities.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student has reached the competence targets and shows familiarisation with the knowledge base. The student can limit the the use of tools in particular situations. The student can implement tools and methods suitable for different kind of digital communication use.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student has reached the competence targets and can use individual tools. The student can search solutions for an individual situation in digital tools.
