Objective
Students will know the factors that affect how an individual or group behaves so as to improve work efficiency, profitability and the quality of working life in an organization.
Content
The individual in an organization, groups and teams, organizations and cultures as a work environment, people management and subordinate skills.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The students are able to use and combine organisational behaviour concepts and provide reasons for them. They are able to analyse their work and the work of the group and make reasoned suggestions on how to develop activities.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
The students are able to explain and describe what affects work motivation, group work mechanisms and dynamics and the role of immediate bosses as well as the significance of subordinate skills when building the work community. They are able to provide a reasoned explanation and description of their own activities in terms of promoting group work.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The students are able to name features of individual and human behaviour, various organisational structures and their benefits and disadvantages as well as the main areas, levels and tasks of organisational culture. They are able to name and describe the main tasks of immediate superiors.
