Objective

The students will be able to coordinate, assess and develop evidence based nursing and its quality in the social and healthcare environment. They will understand the importance of strategic management in the development of an organisation/work community and can combine and integrate their competence into strategic management planning. The students recognise the factors that weaken and strengthen occupational wellbeing and can develop work wellbeing.

The fundamental concepts and theories of administration and management in nursing
Strategic leadership and quality control
Competence management
Occupational health and safety and well-being

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students conduct work assessments and evidence-based development
The students are able to assess and develop quality control in the work community
They can apply organisational strategy in their development work
They are able to assess wellbeing in their work community and develop it

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The students conduct work assessments and attempt to conduct evidence-based development
The students have mastered some quality control tools and can apply them in their work
They can attempt to develop their work community according to the strategy of the organisation
They are able to promote occupational wellbeing as they work

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students recognise the importance of nursing management and are able to use its concepts
The students understand the basics of quality control
They understand that development is based on the strategy of the organisation
They are able to recognise factors affecting occupational wellbeing
