Objective
The students will understand the many dimensions of safety and can examine it from different perspectives. They will understand safety threats and the legal perspectives involved. The students will be able to prepare for situations where safety is under threat and can act in such situations and discuss hazardous events. The students will be able to examine safety issues in different healthcare environments and can develop nursing safety.

Pass:
The students are able to use safety concepts as required. They are able to describe and justify basic safety knowledge. The students are able to choose appropriate practices relating to safety using acquired knowledge and guidelines. They can apply safety promotion techniques and models as required. The students are able to reflect upon their knowledge and assess safety related phenomena. They are able to justify their work according to professional nursing ethics.
Fail:
The students fail to achieve the assessment criteria mentioned above.
