Learning outcomes
Students will activate their spoken and written English communication skills for working in superior communication tasks and in customer service situations of human resource management.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The students have extensive knowledge of the different areas of management communication and
can communicate fluently both in writing and when speaking using English for special purposes. They
are able to compile skilful management communication reports, e.g. team work and team leadership
appraisals and they are proficient in the use of management communication vocabulary and
phraseology

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good (3-4)
The students have relatively good knowledge of the different areas of management communication
and can communicate quite well both in writing and when speaking using English for special
purposes. They are able to compile fairly good management communication reports, e.g. team work
and team leadership appraisals and they are sufficiently proficient in the use of management
communication vocabulary and phraseology.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1-2)
The students have a superficial knowledge of the different areas of management communication and
can communicate to a cursory degree both in writing and when speaking using English for special
purposes. They are able to compile simple, brief management communication reports, e.g. team
work and team leadership appraisals and they are proficient in the use of the most common
management communication expressions and phrases.
