Objective

Main objective of the course:

To develop personal skills in supporting children and families in crisis and to apply them in practice:
1. Crises and crisis work (1 cr)
2. Resilience - what is Resilience? (1 op) (1 op)
3. supporting children and families in situations of stress and crisis (2 cr).
4. Compassion fatigue (1 op)

Sub-objectives: at the end of the course, the student will have
- be able to identify different types of crises.
- be able to anticipate crises from the point of view of their own work.
- have concrete tools and methods for crisis work.
- understand the importance of resilience and know how to support it.
- can identify stress and crisis situations in children and support them in coping with them.
- understands the risks of compassion fatigue and is equipped with tools to cope with crisis situations at work.
